Shipping
WE GLADLY SHIP WORLDWIDE
Our business is now based in Texas, and all items ship from Texas.
We ship using the US Postal Service's Priority Mail and International Priority Mail services. These services include both flat rate and variable weight options.
Shipping is calculated based on the weight of the package. Each item listed is assigned a unit value based on the weight. And shipping is calculated based on the sum of the weight of your items and your destination.
Before checking out, you must ADD YOUR SHIPPING to your cart. There is a drop down meno for shipping. You select your country/destination and then click recalculate, and the appropriate shipping will be added to your order.
Below is a synopsis of what the shipping costs are for the various destinations.
WEIGHT US CANADA EVERYWHERE ELSE
up to 2lbs 5.50 11 13
to 2.5 lbs 8.50 17 33
to 8 lbs 10.00 24 39
to 12 lbs 13.00 32 50
1 yard of quilter's cotton fabric weighs about .4 lbs.
Sometimes it is prudent to split your order. So please play around with the cart to see what makes the most sense for you in regards to shipping.
Of course it is difficult to get shipping exactly correct. If you are overcharged significantly, a shipping refund will be issued.
Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
INSURANCE
Insurance is optional, but highly reccommended, as we are not responsible for lost or damaged packages. If you are interested in insuring your package, please email me at orders@shereesalchemy.com for a quote. You can go on and place your order and checkout/pay to insure you get your goods. And I will invoice you separately for your added insurance. Insurance is based on value of goods as well as destination, so if you are emailing for a quote before placing an order, please be sure to provide these details in your inquiry so that I can get the most accurate quote.
REPLACEMENT OF LOST PACKAGES
We do not under any circumstances replace lost or damaged packages. We retain all our proof of shipping for our protection and are happy to provide this to you in the event that you need to file a claim with the US Postal Service. |
