Sewing and Applique Summer Camp
Dates: Monday, July 16-Friday, July 20, 2012

Time: 1-4 pm all five days (bring a snack and water bottle)
Fee:  $150.00 ( fabric and supplies are extra)
Ages:  7 and up

This summer camp is a great camp for kids new to sewing as well as those with some basic knowledge.  In this week long camp, kids will learn the fundamentals of sewing and machine applique while making a variety of amazing projects!  Students will spend their time creating a pillow, a blanket, a tote bag, as well as some items to wear (they will choose from a skirt or shorts with applique top or a dress).  In addition to learning basic machine applique skills, students will learn how to mix and match fabrics, prints and colors to create balanced, pleasing combinations that will have a young and modern look to them.  Students do not need to purchase any patterns for this camp, but they will need to purchase all of their fabrics, supplies and notions for their individual projects.  A detailed fabric, supply and notion list will be created for each student during registration as each student will have a unique list of needs based on what they plan to make.
